About Us

Growing up in Fort Smith, Arkansas, I felt an insatiable longing for a life beyond the city limits. I dreamed of a peaceful existence on a small farm, surrounded by nature's beauty.

Our four-year stint in the outskirts of Oklahoma City was a test of endurance. Our love for cooking and sharing meals with loved ones was a beacon of hope in our city life.

With the purchase of our farmstead in Tamaha, Oklahoma in 2022, we saw an opportunity to turn our passion into a purpose. We're excited to explore new horizons in healthy cooking and share our journey with others, from the homestead!

Who we are:

The Chef: Cyndie is the mad scientist in a white apron. She is the one who (with assistance) comes up with the final flavors that go into your favorite bars. She does the baking. 

The Backbone: Ivan is the guy upon whose shoulders Cyndie leans. He gathers, cracks, and shells those perfect pecans that get turned into pecan butter. He does most of the packaging and labeling of the bars. Without him, these bars would never have come about.

Quality Control: Lydia is the head flavor checker. She tests every batch for prime flavor and chewiness. Each batch has a tiny bit left over and she makes sure every single batch gets a test before it goes out the door. She makes sure that the pecans are sorted and clean of shells. She is a valuable asset in the kitchen when emergency assistance is needed.
